Kayaking in Jávea
Paddle along the Costa Blanca's most beautiful coastline – sea caves, hidden coves and crystal-clear water.
Sea kayaking is one of the best ways to discover Jávea's coastline. The protected coves and limestone cliffs of the Cap de Sant Antoni and Cap de la Nau marine reserves offer calm water, stunning rock formations and easy access to beaches you cannot reach by road.
Several operators rent kayaks and run guided tours from Jávea port, Arenal and Cala Granadella.
Where to go kayaking
From Arenal you can paddle around the headland to the port and the small coves. From Granadella, head north along the cliffs to discover sea caves and hidden bays.
Guided tours
Half-day tours (3–4 hours) typically include guide, kayak, snorkel gear and a snack stop in a remote cove. Suitable for beginners.
Rentals
Single and double sit-on-top kayaks rent from €15/hour or €40/day. No experience needed for short coastal paddles in calm conditions.
Safety
Always check the forecast – conditions can change quickly. Wear a life jacket, stay within sight of shore on windy days and don't paddle out into open water without experience.
