Emergency Numbers in Spain

112 is the single number for all emergencies across Spain and works from any phone, including foreign mobiles without a Spanish SIM. Operators speak English, French, German and other languages.

For non-emergencies (police report, lost passport, consular help), you'll need specific numbers – listed below.

• 112 – ambulance, police and fire (English available)
• 061 – ambulance only

• 091 – National Police (Policía Nacional)
• 062 – Civil Guard (Guardia Civil)
• 092 – Local Police (Policía Local)
