Day Trip from Jávea to Moraira

Moraira sits 20 km south of Jávea and feels more upmarket and quieter, with a beautiful marina and several sandy beaches. The narrow CV-740 coastal road from Jávea is one of the most scenic drives on the Costa Blanca.

Half a day is enough to see the highlights; spend a full day to combine beach time with lunch at one of the seafront restaurants.

Moraira's beaches are smaller and sandier than Jávea's Arenal. El Portet is one of the prettiest sandy coves on the Costa Blanca. Less choice of beach restaurants than Jávea, but more upmarket.

Drive yourself via the CV-740 (20 min). The coastal route is more scenic but slower. No direct bus from Jávea – take a taxi (€20–€25) or rental car.
