Day Trip from Jávea to Denia

Denia (Dénia) sits 15 km north of Jávea and makes a perfect half-day or full-day trip. It's a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy with one of the best food scenes in Valencia, a hilltop castle and a buzzing marina.

Drive yourself (15 min along the CV-735) or take the local bus from Jávea port. Parking is easy near the marina.

By car: 15 min via CV-735, free parking near the marina. By bus: Autocares Carrió Línea 6 from Jávea port. By ferry: weekly summer ferries to Ibiza and Mallorca depart from Denia.

Year-round destination. Tuesday morning is market day (one of the biggest on the Costa Blanca). Bonfire Night (Hogueras de San Juan, 24 June) is spectacular.
