    Jávea itself does not have a water park, but several of Spain's biggest aquatic parks are within an easy drive – ideal for a sun-filled family day. Aqualandia in Benidorm is the largest and most famous, while Aqua Natura combines slides with an animal park.

    Plan for an early start in July and August: queues build by 11:00 and parking fills fast. Most parks open daily May–September, weekends only in shoulder season.
