Cala Blanca takes its name from the white limestone pebbles that line the shore and give the water a luminous turquoise tone. It sits near Cap de la Nau on Jávea's south-eastern coast, framed by Aleppo pines and dramatic cliffs.

Because access requires a short walk from a small clifftop car park the beach stays calm even in summer – a real find for travellers who want clear water without the crowds of Arenal or Granadella.

## Getting there and parking

From Jávea drive south on the CV-740 towards Cap de la Nau and follow signs for Cala Blanca. A small free car park sits above the beach; arrive early in summer.

## Swimming and snorkelling

The water is exceptionally clear and the rocky underwater scenery is good for snorkelling. The seabed slopes quickly so it is best suited to confident swimmers.

- Crystal-clear visibility
- Rocky edges with marine life
- Bring water shoes for the pebbles

## Facilities

There are no permanent facilities at Cala Blanca – no showers, no lifeguards and no restaurants. Bring everything you need, including drinking water and shade.

## Best time to visit

Spring and early autumn offer warm water and almost empty shores. In summer arrive before 10:00 or after 17:00 to find space and a quiet atmosphere.
